How can I make an appointment with the Sports Medicine physician?

Often a Sports Medicine physician will be recommended by a doctor, specialist, Physical Therapist, chiropractor, coach or friend.  Health Care professionals can make a referral for you to see Dr. Bauman, or you can refer yourself for an appointment by contacting the clinic today.

Dr. Bauman is a Sports Medicine Physician with additional expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Concussions. How long does it take to get an appointment with Dr. Bauman?

What do I bring to my appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to complete some initial paperwork and information about your health. A sports medicine consultation appointment will be an active one and designed to put your body through movement to best understand how the injury affects you. Therefore, we ask that you bring shorts, a t-shirt or tank top, and running shoes for this appointment. Also, please bring any braces or orthotics that you are currently using (if applicable). If you have copies of imaging reports (x-rays, MRI, CT scans) that pertain to this injury, please bring these with you to the appointment as well.

Is my consultation, procedure, and follow-up visits with Dr. Bauman covered?

Physician appointments for sports-related injuries are covered by major insurance plans (BlueCross, Wellmark, or United Health Care). For patients that are out-of-network or Non-insured, Dr. Bauman can provide care for a fair and reasonable fee.
